I'm a backend-focused Software Engineer with 2.5+ years of experience building distributed, low-latency systems. At Xtelify (Airtel Digital) I own the Reminders & Next-Best-Action decisioning service behind the myAirtel home screen.

Before that, at HT Digital Streams (Hindustan Times), I worked on real-time market streaming, trade alerts and search for Mint Markets, and integrated new financial products into LiveMint. I enjoy system design, reactive and event-driven architectures, and competitive programming.

  • Re-architected reminder evaluation as a parallel fan-out pipeline (CompletableFuture, isolated thread pools) across 15+ downstream sources, reducing p99 latency with per-evaluator deadlines.
  • Built a config-driven Drools/KIE rule engine with decision templates hydrated from Consul KV, so eligibility and priority rules change without a code deployment.
  • Implemented event-driven suppression using Kafka payment events, persisting suppression/viewed state in Aerospike to prevent stale and duplicate reminders.
